THE BEATLES: vinyl LP 'With The Beatles' , window mounted together with accompanying album leaf, autographed in blue ink by McCartney, Harrison, Lennon and Starr 'To Jennifer', framed and glazed, approx 42 x 42cm. With accompanying note: 'The Leeds Odeon June 5th 1963: these autographs by all four of The Beatles were collected by my grandfather on June 5th 1963. The Beatles had played in Sheffield and were on their way to play for the first time at The Odeon in Leeds, my grandfather Noel Hall was in the police force and was escorting them in from the A1. They arrived early for the concert and were waiting around to go on stage so my grandfather asked them for their autographs and Paul McCartney asked who it was for and signed it to my mother Jennifer...' A late 1960's autograph book containing a sheet of headed Queen's Hotel, Piccadilly, Manchester, writing paper inscribed and signed by Bill Wyman 'Love to Margaret' and bearing four further Rolling Stone signatures, a letter from Bryan Jones to Margaret, a photograph of all four Beatles, signed 'George Harrison' and inscribed in green biro, 'Hope you are well now!' (possibly written by his mother Louise on his behalf) and various autographs and photographs including Cilla Black, Tony Hicks of the Hollies, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Kinks etc, all now housed in a green landscape autograph album and mainly collected at gigs held at the Imperial, Nelson, Lancashire
Autographs: John Lennon and Paul McCartney, these two Beatles signed a page ripped from a school exercise book whilst filming "Help" on Salisbury Plain in 1965. When she was a young girl the vendor went with some school friends to watch the filming which is when she obtained these two signatures.
