THE BEATLES - ARIEL INSTRUMENTAL 12" - ORIGINAL UK EMIDISC ACETATE RECORDING. A fascinating piece of Beatles history with this original 1967 single sided 12" Emidisc Acetate recording of Ariel Instrumental. This instrumental, (track length of 9 minutes and 36 seconds') which certainly takes us on a Magical Mystery Tour would be much shortened and be released on the 1967 release as Flying. This recording remains officially commercially unreleased. The acetate (with printed Emidisc label and handwritten 9: 36 Ariel Instrumental 45 PM Beatles) is in neat VG condition showing some surface marks to the playing surface though these are not heavier and the acetate plays through without any issues (no skips, jumps and only a little low lying surface noise). With a little wear to the lacquer on the rim (not on the playing surface) and with a little peeling to the lacquer on the non-playing side. An extraordinary insight into the creative minds of the Fab Four at a pivotal part of their career.
