BEATLES SIGNED POSTCARD - an early Parlophone promotional postcard of The Beatles signed on the reverse. These were obtained when the Beatles were staying at a hotel in London which was owned by the Father of one of the vendor's friends. When the vendor and her 3 friends heard The Beatles were staying at the hotel they all rushed out and purchased copies of Please Please Me for them to sign (see next lot). In addition to signing the four LPs for The Beatles signed a postcard and dedicated it to all four of them. The postcard reads "To Pam, Ann, Norma and Theresa. Love from The Beatles". Ringo, John and George have all signed in their own hand while it is thought that George signed on behalf of Paul. Includes a letter of provenance from the vendor and a photo of the 4 friends as they were back in 1963. Authenticated by Roger Epperson for entry to this sale (except Paul's).

TWO AUTOGRAPH BOOKS, mainly pop stars and entertainers from the early 1960's including Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Gene Vincent, Marty Wilde, Joe Brown, Burt Weedon, Shane Fenton, Acker Bilk, Benny Hill and many others. Provenance: the two Beatles signatures were obtained by writing to Associated-Rediffusion prior to the Beatles appearance on the TV show 'Tuesday Rendezvous' in either late 1962 or early 1963, hence the signatures of Burt Weedon, Muriel Young and the other presenters and puppets. The Beatles appeared on this show twice 4/12/62 and 9/4/63. The other signatures were obtained when the artists played in Cannock during the early 1960's.

The lot mainly features releases from John Lennon/Yoko Ono with titles including Live Peace In Toronto 1969 (CORE 2001 Ex+ condition), Imagine (PAS 10004 with poster, Ex to Ex+), John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band (PCS 7124, Ex+/strong Ex), Some Time In New York City (PCSP 716, similar Ex+ condition), Mind Games, Shaved Fish and Double Fantasy. Also to include a sealed copy of Ringo's Rotogravure. Condition is superb throughout with titles almost always Ex to Ex+.

The records are in VG+ condition with some light surface marks to both records, but certainly no deeper marks/scratches. Complete with photos, poster and the original black inners. The sleeve is in VG+ condition with some wear/creasing to the laminate but no rips/tears.

THE BEATLES - WITH THE BEATLES 1ST STEREO - A well presented 1st UK 'Jobete' credit stereo pressing of this 1963 release (PCS 3045). The label ahas 'Recording First Published', 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd', -2/-2 matrix endings, , 'You Really Gotta' on label and the Jobete credit for 'Money'. The record is VG with a few light surface marks with a small scratch at the start of side 2. The sleeve is in Ex condition with only minor laminate wear, the flipback design reverse is in very nice order.
