Beatles / Signatures / BOAC Menu Card, A BOAC Cunard Menu for the 'Beatles Bahamas Special' flight from February 1965 signed by all four Beatles together with an additional signature of 'Rough Hawkins' - The Vendor writes as follows: My father-in-law was the chief steward of the flight from London Heathrow to New York on a Boeing 707 scheduled flight dubbed the Beatles Bahamas Special. The flight to the Bahamas had on board all the four members of the Beatles group, film crew etc to film the second Beatles film "Help" . My Father-in-law could remember that Ringo asked for a jam butty although the food was very special. On landing at New York the group decided to stay on the air craft, against the wishes of the American customs. The flight crew, however, had to change and as My Father -in-law entered the arrivals hall he was asked by the screaming young crowd if the Beatles had spoken to him, he said that indeed they had and that he had served them food, on that they mobbed him and after he was rescued by the security he found that his Neck Tie had been cut off at the end by one of the fans as a memento! Menu signed on the rear - all nice and clear - a few light creases around the edges, otherwise n Excellent condition
