The record is in superb Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely faint, minor and very wispy paper markings - a final upgrade! The sleeve is in VG+ condition with a couple of creases and some light ringwear on the reverse.

Based on the little publicised meeting between the two music titans in 1965. The work is mixed media on paper and measures approx 35 X 44.5cm. Frame measures 52 x 72cm. Footage of Klaus Voormann talking about the meeting between Beatles and Elvis on German TV, with shots of his art will be included.

The Beatles played The Cavern on the same night which was 2 days before their release of their first single Love Me Do. The blue contract shows that The Echoes were paid ·75 and has been signed by George Cooper. A George Cooper compliments slip is also attached.

WHITE ALBUM - ORIGINAL UK MONO - NUMBER 0001249. Wonderful low numbered original UK copy of the seminal 1968 album (PMC 7067/7068). The top opening sleeve is in terrific Ex+ condition. A superb example, there is only very minor wear to the laminate and some very light edge/shelfwear. The embossed 'Beatles' is in top order with the number 'No. 0001249' lovely, clean and sharp. The records (original 'Sold In UK', 'Mfd In UK' no EMI, -1/-1/-1/-1 matrix) are in VG+ condition with some quite light surface/scuff markings, none of which are of a heavier nature. Complete with the poster, photos, spacer and black inners all in excellent condition.

Some creasing and staining. Provenance: Purchased by the vendor who is a Beatles collector from a lady on The Wirral around 30 years ago. At the same time he purchased her membership cards and tickets that she had saved from the Liverpool clubs she used to visit in the late 50's and 60's.

Also to include an mono copy of 'A Hard Day's Night' (PMC 1230, Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve, VG+/VG+ with some surface marks and scuffs).

BEATLES SIGNED FAN CLUB CHRISTMAS FLEXI DISC . A copy of The Beatles ?first Fan Club flexi disc from 1963 "Sincere Good Wishes For Christmas And The New Year (LYN 492)" signed to front of sleeve in pencil by George Harrison, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Ringo Starr. The sleeve is in VG condition while the flexi is Excellent. Provenance: The vendors aunty worked at clubs such as the Zodiac and Iron Door and it was here she met and became a friend of Cilla Black. When the Beatles played their Christmas show at the Finsbury Astoria on 6th Jan 1964 she travelled down to London to see the show and Cilla (who was also on the bill) arranged for her to go backstage which is where the flexi was signed in person by The Beatles. Authenticated by Roger Epperson prior to entry to this sale.

THE BEATLES - LET IT BE - 'PXS 1' ORIGINAL UK LP SET. The rare complete 1st UK pressing box set of Let It Be (referred to as PXS 1) presented in top condition This copy contains the 164 page Get Back book presented in excellent condition with no loose pages. The 'holding tray' for the book is in VG+ condition with a couple of light creases. The outer tray is in VG+ condition with some wear to the edges. The LP is the 1st UK red apple pressing (PCS 7096 -2U/-2U) with the record in outstanding Ex+ or archive condition showing very few markings. The sleeve is in lovely Ex+ condition with only very minor ringwear. No poster. The outer 'slipcase' is in top Ex condition - one of the best we've seen, there is only the slightest wear to the laminate and a tiny little bit of peeling on the bottom edge. Smashing example.

NORTHWICH CARNIVAL AND GALA PROGRAMME 1963 AND GEORGE HARRISON SIGNED. A fantastically rare example of an original programme from the 1963 Northwich Carnival and Gala, famously featuring an appearance from The Beatles to 'crown' the carnival queen. They would perform in Northwich that evening. The programme measures 13.5 x 21.5cm and is in Fine condition, with some very light staining to rear cover, but otherwise very clean and complete, with no missing pages or damage visible. Also to include an official Beatles Fan Club postcard signed "George Harrison" to upper right hand portion of image in blue ink - not thought to be in the hand of George. Postcard shows signs of tape marks, and pin holes to upper corners, obtained by a family member of the vendor at the Northwich Carnival.

SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY ENGLISH LITERATURE SCHOOL BOOK. An original school book containing English essays written by a young JP McCartney (c1959) whilst in Alan "Dusty" Durbands class at the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys. The book contains 22 pages of essays on books including Thomas Hardy Return of The Native and Milton's Paradise Lost. There are also 4 pages of notes on essays at the back along with notes and a doodle of a man smoking on the reverse. All 5 essays in the book have been marked (some with comments) by Mr Durband with Paul receiving a mixed collection of very respectable B's from B++ to B-. The green book measures 6.5" x 8" and has the school logo on the front cover along with the writing "JPMCARTNEY ESQ. 6AM2 ENGLISH LITERATURE". In Mark Lewisohn's book "The Beatles: Tune In" he writes “Paul was now in his final year at the ‘Inny’, class 6AM2, one of the oldest boys in the school…. Was now deep into his Dusty Durband-inspired literary phase. ‘I did most of my reading in (that) little period of my life… I thought it was a bit swotty, a good image… I felt like I was at university’.

BEATLES SIGNED RECORD PLAYER FROM DUNDEE 1963. Fantastic piece of Beatles history here in the form of a 4 speed 'suitcase' style Fidelity portable record player bearing handwritten signatures in blue ink to inner lid from George Harrison, (two signatures), John Lennon, Paul McCartney (two signatures) and Ringo Starr (two signatures). The item was signed following their performance at Caird Hall, Dundee on October 7th 1963. When the TV provided was not working the group requested something to listen to records on during their time backstage. The vendors older cousin (whose husband was friends with the the promoter Andy Lothian Jr) quickly nipped to the vendors house (as they lived locally) and borrowed her record player. At the request of her cousin they all signed the inside of the record player and also gave her a souvenir coin and one of Paul's guitar strings. The vendor took all 3 to school that same week but unfortunately the string and coin went "missing". The vendor has included a scanned copy of a newspaper article, which mentions the group using a record player backstage during the evening and has also included a signed letter of provenance.

Includes letter of authentication from an Indian associate of the Maharishi. Includes a handwritten letter of provenance from the Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math. GEORGE HARRISON OWNED RAJASTHANI PAINTING GIFTED TO HIM BY JOHN & YOKO. George was gifted the painting on his 25th birthday by John and Cynthia Lennon whilst staying at the Maharishi's Rishikesh Agram during 1968. Painting measures approx 5" x 7.5" and is housed in a hand loomed silk double matt frame measuring 10" x 13". This was then gifted by George to Alistair Taylor who then sold it to Beatles biographer Geoffrey Giuliano. Includes a copy of a letter from Alistair Taylor to the vendor which mentions the Krishna paintings that were sold. Also sold with a COA from the Giuliano Collection Ltd.
