Wicked to uncover original Lyntone 7" flexi test pressing of the first (1963) Beatles Christmas Record 'Sincere Good Wishes For Christmas And The New Year'. The 7" flexi disc (blank labels, machine stamped matrix: LYN 492-1U) is in VG condition with some surface marks/scuffs though nothing heavier. Housed with original Lyntone company inner and outer gatefold company sleeve in Ex+ condition.

The record (PCS 7027) is in sharp Ex condition showing a couple of light and minor surface marks/scuffs, these not at all heavier feelable scratches. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 637-1 6 AAR & XEX 638-1 2 DD. Complete with excellent condition original cut-out and red inner. The striking wide spine original mono sleeve is in brilliant Ex+ condition showing some slight edgewear to this extremely well kept copy.

The record (PMC 1202, with 'Recording First Published', without 'Sold In UK') is in glossy VG+ condition with a few light and minor surface hairline marks/scuffs, though absolutely no heavier feelable scratches. With clean Emitiex inner. The second printing sleeve (correct for the pressing) is in sharp Ex condition with the front super sharp, the reverse with some minor foxing.

An original BEA (British European Airways) flight ticket, stapled with carbon copy marked 'TRAINING PURPOSES ONLY' - signed with inscription 'Love from George Harrison'. Harrison has also added 'tles' to the 'BEA' to make 'BEA - tles'. The signature and inscription is clearly legible on the carbon copy beneath. The Beatles had a publicity deal with BEA, using their flight bags c 1964 in exchange for three weeks unlimited travel. Authenticated by Roger Epperson prior to this sale.

Issued as 8 albums, pressed on single sided white label test pressings. Please note albums '5' and '6' only contain one of the 2 single sided LPs. The LPs are typically in fantastic Ex+/archive condition often showing very few marks indeed. Housed with proof sleeve design picture 'folder' covers and 2 x printers proof posters (these with folds). Does not contain the outer 'box' as this would unlikely have been produced at this stage of printing.

An original three-page itinerary sheet prepared by travel agents Robertson, Buckley & Co for The Beatles' 1964 Australia tour. This example was from the collection of Alan Holmes of Sounds Incorporated, who joined the Beatles on this tour. Pages measures 20 x 25cm. Very good condition.

THE BEATLES IN MONO - LIMITED EDITION LP BOX SET (5099963379716). A fantastic addition to any Beatles collection with this 2014 extensive limited edition 14 LP box set. 'In Mono' includes all of the studio albums remastered from the original master mono mixes. The set comprises the group's 10 studio albums spread across 11 LPs, including the triple LP "Mono Masters", released for the first time on vinyl in this set. The Set also includes a 12x12 lavishly illustrated 108-page hardback book. All records and the book are M/ Factory sealed. The outer box is in lovely clean Ex+ condition. The outer slipcase is in VG condition with a couple of light tears. With original outer packaging with promo sticker.

A superb archive of images taken by Alan Holmes of Sounds Incorporated/Inc, mostly c 1960 - 1976, with many corresponding negatives/slides for the large quantity of printed images. Subjects inc Sounds Inc on stage and others inc Gene Vincent, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cilla Black and some images likely (based on dates) to have been taken whilst on tour with The Beatles c 1964/5. Printed images total: approx 240+ photos (most 5 x 3.5"), approx 16 at 8x10" (mostly promo images), 41 variously sized images depicting Sounds Inc (inc an image with Jose Feliciano / Jerry Lee Lewis). With approx 25 rolls of film, 72 colour slides. The images are generally well composed, focused and lit and offer an incredible view behind the scenes of the life of a touring 1960s musician. The first issue with XEX-606-1 matrix number on Side 2 contains withdrawn version ("Remix 11") of "Tomorrow Never Knows". The record is (PMC 7009) is in glossy VG+ condition with a few light surface marks/scuffs, these never at all heavier feelable scratches. The sleeve is in very sharp Ex condition with a little wear around the reverse flipback tabs - elsewhere in super clean order.

Notes that all of the Beatles like 'Steak and chips' with the exception of George Harrison, who likes 'Egg and chips'.From the collection of journalist Patrick Doncaster, who wrote on music at the Daily Mirror from c 1950 - 1970s.
