The Beatles A Hard Day's Night Vinyl LP cover signed on the back by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, George Martin & Brian Epstein. Mono PMC 1230 PCS 3058.Provenance: The vendors grandfather Herbert box was a 1st class steward on the Queen Elizabeth from the maiden voyage in 1947 until 1960. During this time he meet met many of the stars of the time and collected their autographs in a nice white star autograph book. The book was authenticated and sold by Sothebys 1987 approx. After leaving the Queen Elizabeth in 1960 he worked in the top London Mayfair hotels were he continued to collect autographs. He told us he had met The Beatles and had their autographs but we had never seen them until after his death in 1989 when we found the album cover in his box of records and it has remained in their possession since.
Cinema - Large metal & glass architectural feature with central amber glass section depicting an Art Deco Fountain, removed from the foyer & box office area of the Leyton Baths, Circa 1932. 208cm x 204cm.Provenance: The cinema architect designed the interior with spectacular Art Deco Fixtures & Fittings. Leyton Baths doubled as a Theatre, with a large permanent stage at one end. The entire swimming pool area was boarded over for dancing or seating. The venue was hugely popular in the 1960's with Gene Vincent, The Small Faces, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones & The Beatles all appearing here. The Leyton Baths were demolished in 1992 and this was saved from destruction.

A framed and glazed montage in miniature of The Beatles album covers. The montage also includes a series of black and white photographs of The Beatles, one of which includes Mohammed Ali (at that time Cassius Clay) the World Champion Heavy Weight boxer and a snap of The Beatles with their then drummer Pete Best whose autograph appears above a short biography of the drummer (45 cm x 68 cm).

The large majority are pop records from the mid-1950s to the early 1980s, the collection includes many records on the London American label and there are several collectable items. The condition of the vinyl appears to be excellent.
