A group of six acetate sheets and one drawing on paper by Jeff Goldney, made in the production for Yellow Submarine, circa 1968, one loose acetate sheet with 7 studies of a hand with pointing forefinger, the other 5 being cells of drawings of the Butterfly Stomper, sheet sizes approximately 31 x 25 cm and similar, the pencil drawing on tracing paper showing the long figure of a man in profile wearing a tie and holding a pen, sheet size 34 x 24 cm, together with a total of 157 Xeroxed sheets of drawings and sketches from the film, showing The Beatles, Meanies, the Yellow Submarine, etc. the majority with Jeff Goldney ink stamps (some trimmed), 32 x 25 cm and similar sizes, mostly stapled at upper left corners in groups, together with a large contemporary manila posting envelope and an issue of 'it' number 36, 1968, with an article about 'The Yellow Submarine' by Joel W. Finler to page 4 The film's director George Dunning supervised over 200 artists for 11 months in the making of this pioneering animation work. (-)

With 'Northern Songs' credits for all McCartney/Lennon compositions. The record is in VG condition. There are some surface marks; though these are always light and there are no significant markings or indeed any scratches. MATRIX/STAMPERS: 421 1N 2 G H & 422 1N 1 M. The 2nd UK sleeve ('Photo' credit starts just before the 's' in 'songs') is in VG condition with some edgewear and damage to the left hand side (top/bottom) of the reverse flipback.
