Pop / Beatles memorabilia: a collection of nine candid black and white photographs of The Beatles taken backstage at Shrewsbury music hall 26th April 1963, comprising; four square images 8cm by 8.2cm, including Paul McCartney without his shirt with towel around his neck, Lennon and Harrison playing guitars by stacked chairs, plus four portrait photos one of each of The Beatles, includes George Harrison with guitar and Ringo Starr with glass, 7.4cm by 11.8 and one additional photo of John Lennon, a signed / autographed letter from Paul McCartney written in response to the vendor wishing him happy 21st Birthday, he has written verso her card 'Dear Sandy, please excuse me writing on the back of your card, but I haven't got any paper. So anyway, thanks for your letter, and the photo! Love Paul McCartney (Beatles)' (sic), a second piece of paper ' Sandy, I've just found the paper Oh well! Thanks anyway once again love Paul XXX', the envelope dated 23rd June 1963, a copy of The Beatles Christmas Show souvenir program Jan 2nd 1964 with entrance ticket stapled to inside first page and associated contemporary press cuttings, five pieces of cloth, each a sample of that used to make suits for the Beatles by their tailor Dougie Millings in 1964, including a sample of the black stripe fabric used to make the Beatles famous collarless stage jackets, two copies of Another Official Beatles Christmas record, one with facsimile signature insert, and one yellow cover Christmas record. Provenance: The vendor's friend took these backstage photographs at Shrewsbury having gone backstage in her capacity as a reporter for the local newspaper. The photographer herself is shown in one of the photos, but took the rest, and gave copies to the vendor and two other friends. A series of these photos sold in Dec 2010 at Bonhams, with the copyright. The vendor's best friend was daughter of the Beatles' tailor Dougie Millings, hence the fabric samples. The letter was sent to Paul McCartney by the vendor herself while still at boarding school.

The Beatles: Rare set of three original promotional stickers for the Beatles concert in the Philippines at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium July 4th 1966. The concert venue was changed to this Stadium due to its larger capacity than the originally arranged Araneta Coliseum. The stickers are unused and in excellent condition
George Harrison: A handÂwritten letter to Carol offering advise on how to contact Al Aronowitz (Rock Journalist). Carol Bedford, a friend of George, an Apple Scruffs member and author of the book ‘Waiting For The Beatles’ (An Apple Scruffs Story) in which this letter is illustrated. The letter is written on the back of a blank recording sheet and signed ‘Have B o L George’
John Lennon: Limited edition box set. In 2000, Cynthia Lennon, the 1st wife of John and mother of Julian, painted four portraits of John and gave them to Julian as a birthday gift on the 20th anniversary of John’s death in 1980. A production company in London contracted to produce a “limited edition” of these portraits in colour lithograph prints. The promotion never went through but there were 300 sets of these prints produced. This example is in near mint condition The four piece artwork set was printed by Napier Jones to Fine Art Trade Guild Standards Print #1 is a depiction of how John Lennon looked in year 1963 in his collarless jacket. Print #2 is a depiction of how John Lennon looked in year 1965, the year the Beatles received an accolade from the Queen of England. Print #3 is a depiction of how John Lennon looked in the year 1967, during the period of time that the Sgt Pepper was released and John and the other Beatles had finally stopped touring Print #4 is a depiction of how John Lennon looked in the year 1980, when John`s life was so quickly and cruelly taken. Each print measures approximately 15-1/2” x 10-1/2”
George Harrison: Handwritten ‘thank you’ note written on Friar Park headed note paper, sent to Carol Bedford, a friend of George, an Apple Scruffs member and author of the book ‘Waiting For The Beatles’ (An Apple Scruffs Story) in which this letter is illustrated with caption that this was the last letter that she had received from George. The note reads - “Hello! Thanks glad you’re ok and like Extra Texture - see you sometime love from George H”. Sold with the original mailing envelope and a demo copy of the single Extra Texture
