The Beatles Abbey Road 8th August 1969 and six photographs of The Beatles were taken on the Crossing of Abbey Road by Iain McMillan. The fifth frame was chosen for the album cover. This original print, known as Frame 4, shows the Beatles moving across the road from right to left. Paul has bare feet in this picture and you can see a red London bus behind them. According to the vendor these were given to a friend of Iains who lived in the same street as him. This lot comes with a copy of the original card packing which has the date of the photo shoot and Iain McMillan's signature on. Photograph size is approx. 12.5" square
