TWO NEW ORDER MICROPHONES. Both well used with makers/model numbers worn away. These were all used for various recordings over the years on various songs and projects. Hard to be specific but I remember when I did The Great British Menu at Abbey Road, I seemed like the only one sober and the guy from Abbey Road said to me, “Do you want to see the microphones The Beatles used?’ I was so excited, running around the room to gather my friends and colleagues to see this breathtakingly important collection, only to be told to “Fek Off!’ By all of them. I went alone and was shown the mikes used by Frank Sinatra and The Rolling Stones’ plus of course the ‘Fab Four’. I asked, ’Which songs were they used on mate?’ ‘Peter’ he said, ‘We wrote down which Studio, which Artist, which Engineer, what date, what time…The only thing we didn’t ask is which songs, sorry!’ We are all the same.
