Pop-Music - The Beatles - - Von allen 4 Beatles-Mitgliedern signierter Artikel der Musikzeitschrift "Mersey Beat" sowie vergoldete LP des Albums "Revolver" 1963-66. Parlophone - 1A 062-04097. Erstmals 1961 wurde in der Mersey Beat "The Beatles Story" veröffentlicht (Vol 2, No. 45, 11.-25. April 1963). August 1966 in Großbrittanien. Insgesamt in sehr gutem Zustand. Article of the music magazine "Mersey Beat" signed by all 4 Beatles members and gold-plated LP of the album "Revolver". Parlophone - 1A 062-04097. The newspaper clipping together with record, sleeve and private plate mounted under mat, framed. - The article "Win The Beatles L.P." originates from the magazine "Mersey Beat", which was published by Bill Harry from 1961 onwards and dealt with the music scene of the 1960s, especially in Liverpool. For the first time in 1961, Mersey Beat published "The Beatles Story" (Vol 2, No. 45, 11-25 April 1963). The article "Win The Beatles L.P." is signed by all four members, which happened probably during the fourth Mersey Beat Showcase, at Fairfield Halls in Croydon, 1963. - The album Revolver was released three years after the fourth Mersey Beat Showcase as the Beatles' seventh studio album in the UK on 5 August 1966. It is characterised by an experimental tone, with perfecting the sound being a priority for the members. For example, excerpts of tapes running backwards were used in individual pieces. The title of the album "Revolver" does not refer to a weapon, but remains connected to the music as a reference to the rotation of the turntable. The cover design is by Klaus Voormann, a graphic artist and musician as well as a good friend of the Beatles from their Hamburg days. The back of the sleeve is designed with a photo of Robert Whitaker and shows the band in the recording studio. - The record with small superficial scratches (functionality not checked), the sleeve with small traces of wear, the newspaper clipping somewhat browned due to the paper. Overall in very well preserved condition.
