1960s Autograph Book The Beatles and The Rolling Stones This stunning autograph book was compiled by the vendor during the early sixties and most notibly contains three of The Beatles autographs, 'John Lennon', 'George Harrison', and 'Paul McCartney', with an extra 'Paul McCartney' signed miniature picture and a full set of autographs by The Rolling Stones includes 'Brian Jones', Mick Jagger', Keith Richards', Bill Wyman' and 'Charlie Watts'. Other autographs amongst the book, 'Tommy Quickly', 'Dickie Valentine', 'Peter & Gordon', a signed postcard of 'Geneviere Grad' and interestingly a note to the vendor from a childhood friend 'Linda Fairley' signed Lulu. Linda Fairley is today an Author. Also contained within the book is the vendors Cavern Club Membership Card for the 1962 season. NB: In the last 20 years there has been a rise in demand for The Beatles and Rolling Stones autographs which has led to such items becoming quite scarce and valuable so we are delighted to offer you this chance to own this unique piece of pop memorabilia. A 1960s autograph book containing various signatures of 1960s pop stars to include a set of the four Beatles signatures, signed in biro to one page, Gerry and the Pacemakers (x2), Del Shannon, Freddie from Freddie and the Dreamers, Roy Orbison (x2), Gene Pitney, Billy J Kramer and Cilla Black. Along with a concert stub for The Beatles concert held on Nov 5th 1963 at the Adelphi Cinema in Slough, the date the Beatles signatures were acquired, four 1960s books on The Beatles and a letter of provenance signed by the vendor. Provenance: The vendor was 15 when she attended the Beatles evening concert at the Adelphi Cinema in Slough on Nov 5th 1963 with a group of school friends. The vendor obtained the signatures that evening. The Beatles toured the UK throughout 1963 and were never more accessible to their fans than at this time. Nov 5th was the second time the Beatles played at the Adelphi in Slough, the first being on May 18th at the beginning of the Roy Orbison tour. By November the term Beatlemania had been coined and the Beatles Nov 5th concert took place the evening after they had attended the Royal Command Performance on front of the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret

He was renowned for his theatrical photos of subjects such as Vivien Leigh and the Beatles, who he photographed for their first album. Unframed. A litlle browned and needs flattening,. The sitter is no longer thought to be Yehudi Menuhin, but is currently unknown
