These items were originally from the collection of Beatles biographer Hunter Davies and may include some handwritten notes (all removable) by the author.
An original handbill from January 1961 listing two events, Fri 27th at the Aintree Institute with 'The Sensational Beatles' and to the verso advertising the following night with Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. Measures approx 5 x 8". In very good condition. With letter of provenance detailing how the item was obtained.

To include Please Please Me (PMC 1202, UK mono 5th pressing with 'Recording First Published' on black/yellow Parlophone labels - Ex+ absolutely superb condition record showing only a couple of extremely faint, slight and wispy paper marks/Ex+ fantastic condition original second printing large mono sleeve with some slight laminate wear, the reverse flipback tabs in extraordinarily clean order/also housed with clean condition original Nems bag!). Also to include Revolver (black/yellow Parlophone PMC 7009 -2/-3 - very glossy VG+ record, small mark that can just about be felt between A2/3 and B2/B3, not heavier/Ex sharp sleeve), Magical Mystery Tour EP (stereo SMMT-1 blue page), Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane (R 5570), Sgt. Pepper's (2 box EMI RE, no inserts), 1962-1966, 1967-1970 (both stock black vinyl copies) and Rare Beatles. Condition is typically Ex to Ex+.
THE DAMNED - NEW ROSE 7" (1ST UK PRESSING - STIFF RECORDS BUY 6). True slice of Punk history with the very first pressing of the legendary debut cut from The Damned... The record with 'Street Music Co' A-side and 'Northern Songs Ltd' B-side credits, the sleeve with 'Delga' printing. The record (BUY 6, four prong centre) is in superlative Ex+ condition. Great to see like this, there are only a couple of extremely minor, faint and wispy paper hairline marks to the incredibly clean playing surfaces. Stunning clean and sharp labels. Matrix/runout: BUY 6 A-1U "IS THIS A RECORD?" A BILBO BOPPA! & BUY 6 B-1U BILBO - MASTER ROOM. DAMNED BEATLES! The fragile paper picture sleeve is in VG condition with some creasing on the top edge though elsewhere nice and neat.

The Beatles - Hard Days Night - 1964 Demo version 10" Dick James Music Publishing Acetate. The Acetate is cut to a 7" size on a 10" Acetate. This version is a demo version with counting at the beginning. Provenance: The Acetate came from the library of one of the UK's biggest publishing companies.
