Provenance documents supplied include: detailed history of the item by the vendor, including details of appraisals by Bonhams, Antiques Roadshow, The Vinyl Factory, four images depicting the Beatles holding similar discs (inc one bearing identical font and display style). MICHAEL LINDSAY-HOGG ROLLING STONES PLANNED FILM EPHEMERA. Collection of items relating to a planned but ultimately cancelled TV concert film to feature The Rolling Stones, Elton John, John Lennon, Diana Ross. Included here are would be director Michael Lindsay-Hogg's manuscript and typescript for the opening show, and a notebook with his ideas for the show, two original luggage labels for the Stones' 1970 European tour, correspondence relating to the New York Museum of the Performing Arts accepting footage from Lindsay-Hogg's Beatles and Stones films.

BEATLES SIGNED RECORD PLAYER FROM DUNDEE 1963. Fantastic piece of Beatles history here in the form of a 4 speed 'suitcase' style Fidelity portable record player bearing handwritten signatures in blue ink to inner lid from George Harrison, (two signatures), John Lennon, Paul McCartney (two signatures) and Ringo Starr (two signatures). The item was signed following their performance at Caird Hall, Dundee on October 7th 1963. When the TV provided was not working the group requested something to listen to records on during their time backstage. The vendors older cousin (whose husband was friends with the the promoter Andy Lothian Jr) quickly nipped to the vendors house (as they lived locally) and borrowed her record player. At the request of her cousin they all signed the inside of the record player and also gave her a souvenir coin and one of Paul's guitar strings. The vendor took all 3 to school that same week but unfortunately the string and coin went "missing". The vendor has included a scanned copy of a newspaper article, which mentions the group using a record player backstage during the evening and has also included a signed letter of provenance.

Brill bundle including a very hard to come by 2nd UK mono Please Please Me. Titles are Please Please Me (PMC 1202 2nd mono copy with Northern Songs credits) - the record is in solid VG condition showing some light surface markings to the playing surfaces - at no point are these of a heavier nature with no scratches to mention. With 'Factory Sample Not For Sale' sticker on the side 1 label. With clean and sharp side 1 label, side 2 label showing a little fading. Matrix/stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 L & XEX 422-1N 1 2 GO. With original Emitex inner. The 1st UK (right aligned Angus McBean credit) sleeve is in well-presented VG+ condition. A very solid example, there is some light wear to the flipback design and some light edgewear. Great copy. Also with the 2nd Beatles Christmas flexi 'Another Beatles Christmas Record' (LYN 757) presented in Ex/Ex condition (no insert).

The record is in (visual) G+ condition showing many surface markings; these are not often of a heavier nature with only a couple of light feelable scratches. Matrix/stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 M & 422-1N 1 O. Complete with original Emitex inner. The original (right aligned Angus McBean credit) sleeve is in G condition. Still a solid example, there is some light paper tearing on the front with damage to the bottom part of the reverse flipback design.
