It Was Thirty Years Ago Today (1994), a black and white photograph of The Beatles in 1964 used on the front cover of the book and taken by Terence Spencer. Bloomsbury originally owned the negatives and later sold them onto Apple. Along with six working proofs of George Harrison cutting John Lennon's hair that were used in the book. Provenance: The book was designed by Roy Williams & Laurence Bradbury and they were gifted this original photograph after the publication of the book. 40 x 30cm

The Beatles, Four pieces of bed linen (1 inch square) slept on by The Beatles during their stay at The Whittier Hotel, Detroit, Michigan on 6th September 1964, The bed linen was purchased by TV directors Larry Einhorn and Richy Victor and comes with their COA. The swatches are pasted on to 6 x 9 inch pieces of parchment which is a COA signed by the Hotel's Managing Director, included are copies of newspaper reports regarding the purchase of the sheets (4)

Sonia Handford (1925-2010): The Beatles, linocut, hand-signed to margin; together with an additional unsigned example of the same subject, each 30 x 45 cm; and a hand signed lithograph of a sleeping girl numbered 1/12 (3). Provenance: The artist's daughter. Note: Born to Russian Jewish parents who settled in England in the early 1900s, Sonia Handford was educated at Clapham County Girls’ Grammar School, and later at Wimbledon School of Art (1942-1945) under Lionel Ellis (1903–1988) where she received the ‘Painting with Merit’ award. She travelled widely during her life, beginning with France, Spain, Italy and Greece and later to Egypt, Russia, and the U.S.A. and exhibited at Wandsworth Town Hall (1963), Moriarty’s Wine Bar, West Hampstead (1989) and Shaftesbury Arts Centre (2004). She also had an extensive teaching career at Sydenham School for Girls, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Balls Park College of Education, St. Albans School for Boys and Hampstead Comprehensive. Major influences on her work include: Picasso, Robert and Sonia Delaunay, Cezanne and Van Gogh.
