THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM - ORIGINAL UK STEREO NUMBER 0000029. An incredibly low numbered original UK stereo White Album to add to your serious Beatles collection! Please note that whilst this is a lovely clean example, a professional restoration has been applied to the sleeve which has at some point been split with additionally a small patch of the chipboard grafted onto the top front side where it was originally missing (less than ¼ square inch in size) . The repair was completed with great care, so the sleeve is now made whole and fully intact. The effect of the repair is noted on the spine where minor glue residue can be seen. The laminate is in clean order and the other parts of the sleeve (front, left and right inner section of the gatefold and reverse) are also in neat order with a couple of light scuffs. The embossed number "No. 0000029' is in lovely clean order with 'The Beatles' embossed lettering also lovely and clean. Complete with the original UK stereo LPs (with 'Sold In UK' text and without 'EMI Recording', -1/-1/-1/-1 matrix endings) - record 1 is in G+ condition showing some surface marks and a couple of light but feelable scratches, record 2 is in glossy VG+ condition with only a few light and minor surface marks. Complete with the four original photos and poster in clean order, the black inners are reproduction.

THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME 7" - UK EMIDISC ACETATE RECORDING. Unbelievable to see UK Emidisc 7" acetate (single sided) recording of Please Please Me. Released with a printed Emidisc label with handwritten "Please Please Me. The Beatles". The acetate is in clean VG condition. Showing some light and minor surface marks/scuffs, there are absolutely no heavier marks or feelable scratches to the playing surfaces. The label is in clean order showing only minor wear. There is no deterioration to the lacquer on the playing side (with some minor wear to the lacquer around the rim), with some 'ring' like effects to the non-playing side.PROVENANCE: Obtained by the vendor from a 69 year old British lady who brought in 4 boxes of records to his shop to sell . She explained that her father Laurence Payne was in The Savoy Orpheans Band and later in the 50's and 60's was a session musician. Her mother had once had tea with The Beatles and she still had a signed photograph from them (she kept that). She could not tell me exactly how the acetates had come into her possession but that her father had lots of records and items given to him over the years. Record collector magazine ran a feature on these 2 acetates in 2017 and said "As for value you are looking at a small fortune as each acetate will fetch thousands of pounds as they really are incredibly sought-after items for Beatles collectors worldwide".

Talks about changing fashions. Talks about not missing people in Liverpool - his main friends John, Paul and Ringo. Talks about popular clubs in London and interviewer Tim asks whether the ‘In crowd’ attend the clubs, George says “Well, the in or out crowd, depends which way you look at ‘em”. On columns ‘written’ by the Beatles “It’s all a load of rubbish”Paul McCartney on being a ‘leader of the young people of the world’ “we’re not leaders - leave that to Lyndon Johnson and all them”.Ringo interview features some wonderful soundbites of him poking fun at the interviewer's hard-to-read crib sheet.John Lennon on his opinion on Vietnam war - “I think it’s all lousy” and on war “I don’t think I can stop war”.Included with this lot are two cassette tapes with copies/edits of the Beatles interviews as well as many others conducted by Tim during the period including with Andrew Loog Oldham, PJ Proby, Brian Jones, The Moody Blues, Bill Wyman, The Seeds. Also - several tapes to include some of Tim's shows on Piccadilly Radio, a VHS tape with documentary on Tim's life and career. An original and rare poster advertising two performances by The Beatles at the Sheffield Gaumont cinema in December 1965. The group performed 11 songs on what would be their final UK tour and were supported by The Moody Blues. This rare example measures 25.5 x 38.8cm and is printed onto glossy card stock. A card hanger has been affixed to the reverse but could likely be removed. Handritten annotations to the upper left corner read 'W1835 Arthur Howes 50' - likely referring to the order or catalogue number for this poster design and the likely number of copies printed. This poster has been in the collection of the family of the original printers 'Electric (Modern) Printing Co' of Manchester and the notes are likely due to this example being a reference copy for the printers. Shows a crease to upper left corner, some very light edge wear but is otherwise in excellent condition.
