Autographs: The Beatles (1963) - Signed by all four on a small single leaf of paper, 7. 5 x 11cm, tipped-in on the front of a cream envelope, Paul McCartney (Beatles) and Ringo Starrs signatures written in blue ink, George Harrison and John Lennons signatures written in red ink; together with an accompanying handwritten note, undated, from Lesley in Rhyl, North Wales, Dear Rob, You once wrote to me and asked me to get you the autographs of the Beatles . . .they were at the Ritz in Rhyl on the 9th and 20th July and I went to see them. The manager, who is a friend of mine, got me their autographs so I thought Id let you have them, Love Lesley. (2) Provenance: The Beatles performed at the Ritz Ballroom in Rhyl, for two consecutive nights, 19th and 20th July 1963. They played two concerts on each day, both of which sold out well in advance. The ballroom, situated on the promenade in Rhyl, was destroyed by fire in 1968.Condition Report: strong signatures;The note with some marks and with ? a possible error to the date, '9th and 20th July', Lesley, the writer of the note, may have meant to write '19th July'.

Parlophone PMC 1202 with black and gold labels and Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 4, 6, 7, B4 and B6. Labels are bright and clean, displaying only minor spindle wear around the centre holes. XEX 421-1N/ XEX 422-1 stamped matrix. The record is in glossy, strong VG+ condition. Each side displays a couple of hairline/ light paper marks. Nothing feelable. Front laminated sleeve with Angus McBean credit is in G+ condition. Front cover is bright and clean, bottom right corner has a light stain. The bottom edge is split/ torn and some of the rear flaps have some light damage).
