All have stamps/information on reverse and include images from Picture by Radio, United Press International, Associated Press, Liverpool Daily Post, In addition to some great shots of The Beatles there are also some great fan photographs from the USA and a great shot from inside The Cavern in Jan 1964.

Clean copies with few creasing normally associated with many flexi discs.

THE BEATLES' HOTTEST HITS - A seldom seen original Danish copy of this 'eskimo sleeve' 1965 LP (PMCS 306). The record is in VG condition with some surface markings; mainly noted on side 1. Always light in nature, there are certainly no heavier markings or scratches apparent. The black/silver labels have some spindle markings. MATRIX: XSTX 115 1 + XSTX 116 1. The front laminated flipback design sleeve is in VG+ condition, clean throughout, there is some minor wear to the reverse flipback borders and a little wear to the laminate on the front.

BEATLES FOR SALE - UK SAMPLE LP - Incredibly rare UK single sided sample recording of the 1964 LP. Issued on Parlophone with a white label and black text staying 'LONG PLAYING TEST RECORD NOT FOR SALE' with 'The Beatles' written in hand. The record is 'side 1' with the matrix XEX 503-4N. The record is in VG condition with some surface marks to the playing surface - these are never heavier scratches and nothing can be 'felt' at all. Complete with the original 'white' sleeve which is stamped '4 NOV 1964' (a month before the official release date).

BEATLES 1967 AUTOGRAPHS - fantastically clear and large set of Beatles autographs dating from 1967 when filming on the set of Magical Mystery Tour. Paul, George and Ringo have signed in black ballpoint pen while John has signed in black felt pen. The signatures were obtained by one of the children that appeared as a stand in extra when the bus was filmed outside the Atlantic Hotel. A signed letter of provenance is included with the lot along with two pictures which show the boy holding the same piece of paper back in 1967. Hard to find a set of 67' signatures especially so large and clear as these. The paper measures 9.5" x 7.5". Authenticated by Roger Epperson prior to entry to this sale.

The two tapes come with a collection of correspondence to include postcards sent by George and his wife Patti Boyd to the vendor and a 6 page letter from Patti to the vendor.This incredible recording was made especially for the vendor whose name is "Mary Bee" back in early 1968 and was sent to her by George and Patti along with postcards and other recordings during 1967 & 1968.The song, which is approx 1 minute 40 seconds long, was recorded on an Emidisc Reel 2 Reel tape in 1968 at "Kinfauns" and is very much in the Indian style of the music that he was heavily influenced by and producing around the time of his first studio album "Wonderwall".The case of this tape has writing on which reads "Tape to Mary Bee". The "Wonderwall" tape again has writing on the box which reads "Music from the film Wonderwall for Mary Bee". The 6 page letter is a great read and has numerous references to the tapes. Patti talks about George working on the "Wonderwall" soundtrack and at one stage says she can't send a tape of the music but then corrects herself (after speaking to George) to say that "George will tape his music". She also says that George has "just come into the kitchen singing Mary Bee, Mary Bee about to make a lovely cup of tea". There are 3 postcards from Patti & George included in the lot which are all addressed to Mary Bee and have been sent from India. The postcards mention where George & Patti have visited, how they are having their first yoga lesson and that she has been thinking of Mary when meditating. On one George has written "Hello Mary - love George". One of the postcards also starts by asking "Did you get the tapes?".Tape 1 - Side 1 Contents: Track 1 - Never before heard track "Well Hello Miss Mary Bee". 1.40 in duration. Track 2 - Beatles Across The Universe - runs from 2.16 to 5.40. Different to released version - faster, differing instrumentation and backing vocals. Recorded 4th Feb 1968. Track 3 - Beatles Inner Light - runs from 5.50 to 8.21 - again different to released version. Instrumental recorded in India during Jan 68. George vocals recorded at same time as Across the Universe in Feb 68. Released 15th March 1968 as b-side to Lady Madonna. Track 4 - Beatles Lady Madonna - runs from 8.27 to 10.41. Same as release. Recorded Feb 68 and released 15th March 1968. Track 5 - Instrumental Indian music - runs from 10.456 to 23.17 Track 6 - Beatles All Together 23.20 to 25.10 and continues on Side 2 from 0.00 to 0.35 Sounds same as released. Recorded May 67' but not released until Jan 69'.Tape 1 - Side 2 Contents Track 7 - Beatles Christmas Time is Here Again - runs from 00.37 to 6.45 - as per 1967/68 flexi disc release. Recorded May 1967. Track 8 - Beatles Strawberry Fields - runs from 6.49 to 10.49 - same as release. Recorded Nov/Dec 1966. Track 9 onwards - Bob Dylan recordings - from 10.54 to 24.45. Appear to be same as albums/single releases.Includes a letter of provenance from the vendor along with her transcribed lyrics for the song.

CHRISTMAS FLEXI DISCS - Grand selection of the first 2 Christmas flexis. Titles are Sincere Good Wishes For Christmas And The New Year (LYN 492- Ex only a little 'creasing' to the playing surface, not many markings at all/Ex original stapled sleeve) and Another Beatles Christmas Record (LYN 757 - Ex similar nice condition with only a few minor 'creases'/VG+ minor staining, complete with Ex condition insert).

BEATLES WHITE ALBUM - 2 printers proof sheets/posters featuring headshots of The Beatles taken by the photographer John Kelly - the same images of The Beatles that were included with all copies of their 1968 White Album. One sheet is one sided and features all 4 head shots twice and in full colour and the other sheet is two sided and again includes their 4 head shots twice but one side is green tinted and the other side is red tinted. The proof sheets have some staining, creases and tears around the edges.

BEATLES BOOKS - HUNTER DAVIeS - original unpublished version of The Beatles The Authorised Biography by Hunter Davies, signed by Hunter. This contains the first 21 chapters and is the version corrected and edited in March 1968, not the final version.

BEATLES DEZO HOFFMAN PHOTOGRAPHS - three original Beatles photographs taken by legendary music photographer Dezo Hoffmann. The images of The Beatles on the Beach in Weston-Super-Mare and playing string instruments have Rex Features Ltd stamps with an additional "Photo by Dezo Hoffmann" stamp while the picture of them buying Bananas has Dezo's own studio stamp.

The album set CDs are in excellent condition, the outer box is very good with some light wear. PAUL MCCARTNEY & JOHN LENNON - part of a ticket that has been signed by both Paul & John from The Beatles performance at Cambridge Hall, Southport on the 26th July 1962. Paul has signed on one side while John has signed on the other. This great piece of memorabilia (on what is a very rare ticket in itself!) was obtained by the vendor when she went to see them as a 14 year old and approached them after the gig had finished. George even offered them a lift home but she declined as she was being picked up by her father. Authenticated by Roger Epperson for entry to this sale and also includes a 1987 valuation from Christie's. Lot also includes a book which mentions the venue at which they performed.

THE BEATLES - A HARD DAY'S NIGHT - A lovely 1st UK pressing of the 1964 LP (mono PMC 1230). The 'Sold In UK', 'Parlophone Co Ltd.' record is in superb Ex+ condition with perhaps just one or two extremely faint and wispy markings to note. -3N/-3N matrix endings. Complete with clean original Emitex inner. The sleeve is in clean Ex condition with some very minor edgewear.

BEATLES MONTHLY - large collection of Beatles Monthly to include issues 2- 52 (excluding 16,27, 34, 43, 46 and 47). Also includes issues 55, 59 and 68 and a further 15 duplicates - the majority are reproduction copies, around 15 are original. Later editions run from 1976 through to 2002.(22 folders).
