The record (PMC 1202, Black & Gold, matrix XEX 421-1N/XEX 422-1N) is in great shape - side 1 in VG+ condition with some non-feelable hairlines and scuffs, side 2 in Ex condition with some faint hairlines/ surface marks. The black & gold label displays spindle marks but is crisp and clean - 'Northern Songs' credits where applicable for a 2nd pressing. The mono sleeve with left-aligned Angus McBean credit is in VG+ condition with some creasing across the cover - no rips or tears and the spine is fully legible. Housed with original piano sheet music for the title track and song booklet.

Frame 41x42cm."Framed, this has sat opposite me in my office for nearly 30 years. The Goons, Hancock & Steptoe albums were as well played in our house when I was growing up as the Beatles and Beach Boys. My dad used to get them from the local library in Spa Road, Bermondsey and to this day I know every excerpt word perfect. I have never seen another album fully signed by Spike, Peter and Harry. In comedy terms this is like having John Paul George & Ringo’s autographs on a copy of With The Beatles. I salute whoever wins this one. They know their stuff all right."
