Please see provenance as follows 'In the summer of 1963 myself and two friends were the first to line up to get tickets for a concert at The Odeon in Romford, Essex with The Beatles headlining. We cheekily asked, as we had been waiting all night, if we could possibly meet The Beatles before the concert to get autographs. This was arranged and the local paper 'The Romford Recorder' came and took photographs'.

The record is in solid VG condition showing some light surface/hairline marks none of which are heavier in nature. Clean labels showing some spindle markings. THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP - DECCA CONTRACT PRESSING (PMC 1202). The scarcely seen original UK Decca contract pressing of the iconic LP (PMC 1202). The record (deep grooved labels, no tax codes) is in glossy VG+ condition showing a few light scuff markings which are never heavier. The original printing sleeve (the 'Photo: Angus McBean credit starting just after the 's' in songs) is in VG condition. Showing a clean front, there is some tape residue where the top left section of the flipback design has become unglued with some light lifting to the bottom right section of the flipback design.
