Juni 1961 den britischen Sänger Tony Sheridan bei einigen Aufnahmen für die Plattenfirma Polydor in der Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Hamburg-Heimfeld, darunter befanden sich die Stücke My Bonnie, The Saints. Diese ersten professionellen Aufnahmen der Gruppe (später auf den deutschen Veröffentlichungen als The Beat Brothers bezeichnet) wurden von dem deutschen Komponisten und Bandleader Bert Kaempfert produziert. Verschiedene Formate.Die berühmten Plakate wurden verschieden stark beschnitten, alle ohne den Druckvermerk im unteren Rand. - Die Plakate wurden von NEMS, der Managementgesellschaft der Beatles, in Auftrag gegeben, wobei die Vertriebsrechte je nach Ort an verschiedene Parteien vergeben wurden. Die Zeitschrift LOOK übernahm den Vertrieb in den Vereinigten Staaten, die Zeitung Daily Express in England und das Magazin Stern in Europa. Alle Plakate wurden 1967 gedruckt, aber für jeden Vertriebsort wurde eine andere Druckerei beauftragt. - I. John Lennon. 66 x 47,7 cm. - Ecken mit Nadellöchern und mit Spuren von Tesafilm, Ecken und vier Stellen am oberen und seitlichen Rand mit Fehlstellen in der obersten Papierschicht, saubere waagrechte Falzspur ca. 5 cm vom oberen Rand, Ecke links oben fast abgerissen. - II. Paul McCartney. 61 x 47,7 cm. - Ecken und oberer Rand mit Spuren von Tesafilm und Fehlstellen in der obersten Papierschicht. - III.
