A MATCHED SET OF THREE EARLY GEORGIAN SILVER 'BOMBE' TEA CADDIES, London 1724, 1725 and 1749, each of conforming design, fitted with domed covers mounted with bird finials above waisted bodies chased and engraved with flowers, leaves and rockwork surrounding plain and initialled reserves, on short scroll feet, (c.34 troy ozs all in). Each 14cm high, contained within a silver mounted shagreen casket. 28cm wide
A good quantity of silver plated items including a large oval tray, a reeded body E.P.B.M. teapot and sucrier, a James Dixon coffee pot, a rose bowl with grid top, a four-setting breakfast boiled egg set on stand, two wine bottle pourer baskets, a cruet base/coaster, a pair of Viner's cream jugs, a sucrier, an iced water jug and a nice quality fluted body oval tea caddy.
A Chinese Yixing pottery teapot and cover, of squat melon shape, with seal mark to base, h.17cm; together with a Chinese Yixing part tea-set comprising teapot with stylised bamboo handle and spout, signed to the base, with three teacups, plate with character marks and calligraphy; sold with two other Yixing teapots and one miniature example (9) Condition Report / Extra Information No apparent faults.
A 19th century ceramic gilt decorated and pink rose painted part tea set; together with two similar cabinet plates and a matching dish Condition Report / Extra Information Pink & gilt tea set: most are numbered 3479. Some hairlines. Light wear to gilt throughout consistent with use & age. Milk jug more noticeably stained to interior.
