A Royal Albert "Old Country Roses" pattern part tea, coffee, fruit and sandwich set, comprising 6 teacups, 6 saucers, 5 coffee cups with 6 saucers, 2 breakfast saucers, sandwich tray with 6 side plates, milk jug, cream jug, 2 condiments, 2 sugar bowls, large fruit bowl with 6 cereal dishes, teapot, coffee pot and an oval plate.
A Royal Crown Derby cabaret set, date code for 1891, with oval body tea cup, sucrier and cream jug on a rectangular tray, each heightened with gilding, printed and impressed marks. Tray diameter 34.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The sugar bowl cover glaze is extensively finely crazed. There is a small nick on the interior rim which has a stained glaze crack of approximately 2 mm, however there are no major chips or cracks visible and the knop is all in all intact. The sugar bowl itself is free from any crazing and is generally in good order throughout, the gilding is also good. It rings out nicely when lightly tapped. The cream jug is in good order throughout, the gilding is good and the glaze is free from any fine crazing. This also rings out nicely when lightly tapped. The glazing to the teapot lid is finely crazed however it appears to be in good order with no obvious chips, cracks or restorations. On the top of the teapot bordering the lid aperture there is a 1.3 cm fine hairline crack just to the right of the spout. There is a tiny, tiny chip to the gilding on the rim of the spout. There is a 2 cm section of gilding missing to the rear of the teapot where the lid sits. The glaze on the teapot is sound and there are no signs of crazing. The tray is in good order throughout and all the gilding is intact.
A G. Demartine & Co. Limoges porcelain 12 place tea set, early to mid 20th century, comprising 12 cups, saucers and side plates, small lidded tureen, sugar bowl, milk jug and two bread plates. CONDITION REPORT: Of the twelve saucers, one has a small rim chip from which issues a 2 cm very fine hairline crack. A further saucer has been broken in two and repaired with rivets and also has a large cross body hairline crack. The third side plate has a small rim chip. All other items appear to be in good order and free from any obvious chips, cracks or restorations. The decoration and gilding is good on all items albeit there is minor evidence of gilt rubbing to some edges.
