A George IV silver three-piece tea service, by John & Thomas Settle from the Gunn & Co, Sheffield 1827, of squat circular form on a simple pedestal foot, the set with gilt interior is decorated with foliage-edged parapets, body embossed with stylised rosettes and leaf scrollwork, cartouche engraved with initials, the teapot is fitted with a flush hinged cover with a sculpted floral finial, elaborately cast bird head spout and handle inset with ivory insulators, together with a cream jug and a double handled sugar bowl.
