A 54 piece " Old Country Roses pattern " with gilt border., Royal Albert Tea Set & Coffee Set C1962. Comprising of both a tea pot and a coffee pot, cream and sugar for each set. 7 tea place trios and 6 coffee cup and saucers , cake plate , oval plate, mugs vase slop bowl etc. Condition, 2 tea cups have cracks , and some pieces have minor gilt rim wear, otherwise rest of the rest on good condition. A VICTORIAN GOTHIC REVIVAL ELKINGTON & CO LTD THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SET OF DECAGONAL FORM, engraved tracery, tea pot and sugar bowl with pierced rims, all pieces with scrolled handles, flattened foot with trefoil decoration to the points, sugar bowl gilt lined, tea pot has ivory insulators and bears registration diamond to the underside for 22 April 1851, gross weight 51.20ozt, 1592.5 grams (3) (Condition Report: the tea pot has a well-used interior with mark where a dried out teabag was removed, there is scratching to the bases of all three pieces around the hallmark and the tea pot also has through the registration diamond, very slightly dished to the centre of the underside, the handle has play and a spot of solder around one of the bottom pins, the milk jug has traces of gilding to the interior base, all three sit level on a flat surface) IMPORTANT NOTE, This lot contains elephant ivory material.
