A small group of 18th century Redware, by repute early Worcester, including a tea cup and bowl impressed with stiff leaves, another decorated with a pastoral scene and a single tea cup (5)Condition reportThe condition of the five pieces is largely excellent. I was unable to find any chips or signs of repair. They are a little dirty and careful cleaning would I think improve them considerably. One of the tea bowls may originally not have had a handle. The loop appears to my eye just a little out of place and has been set over a tree on the body, so this may be a later addition. It is well done, and I don’t feel qualified to be 100% certain on this, however I don’t think it particularly detracts from the piece.
