An assortment of 20th century Coalport tea wares. Including a trio decorated with bamboo and birds on a gilt ground, two plates with blue rims and floral details, etc. Max. H12cm Condition Report: Generally in good condition with minor imperfections. Slight crazing to the glaze of one of the large blue plates and uneven gilt application to the rim of the other. A hairline crack to the saucer of the blue and gilt 'swirl' cup and saucer. The cup of the light blue cup and saucer has a hairline crack and both have heavy crazing. The squat royal blue cup and saucer both have pitting to the glaze, the saucer has a chip that has been re-coloured, there is a hairline crack to the cup. The bird cup and saucer has some rubbing to the gilt but no obvious cracks, chips or restoration. The blue glaze on the vase has some light crazing. The trio set has some light scratches, crazing and pitting however no obvious physical damage or repairs.

There is some minor wear to the marks, though in general each is clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The ivory with some cracking and discolouration. Some of the supports in the box are partly detached. There are some minor bruises to some pieces. The lid on the teapot and sugar-bowl don't close completely flush.

Listed as 'rich blue border of gold with ovals of india work', the design was available unadorned or customers could add their own crests or full coats of arms, at additional cost. The best-known set of this pattern was made in 1815 for Admiral Yeo, and the pattern has since become known as the Admiral Yeo pattern.
