Chinese silver matched three piece tea set, beaten finish, comprising a teapot with cane bound handle, 15cm, milk jug and sugar bowl, the teapot signed Tu Qing Yun, the jug and sugar signed Tu Mao Xing, both of Jiujiang, 30.3ozt gross, and an associated Cantonese hot water pot, signed Wing Fat, beaten finish and embossed with a dragon, cane bound handle, 18cm, 19.8ozt.Qty: 4Condition report:The hinges on both teapot and coffee pot have been removed and replaced with short link chains (one of which has subsequently broken). Dings and dents to the shape of the teapot and smaller distortions to the jug and sugar. Some shape distortions to the foot of the coffee pot. Rattan handle to the coffee pot has become loose in the binding.
Silver three piece tea set, Atkin Bros, Sheffield 1904, comprising teapot with ebonised handle and finial, height 14cm, milk jug and sugar bowl, embossed decoration with blank cartouche, 33.5ozt gross.Condition report:Shape is good to all three pieces, some very minor dings. Hallmarks remain crisp, slight rubbing to the marks on the teapot. The finial and handle are a little dry. Blank cartouches do not appear to have been polished.
