A Midwinter breakfast/tea set in "Spanish Garden" pattern, designed by Jessie Tait from Shapes Designed by the Marquis of Queensbury, comprising a teapot, two jugs and bowls, a large bowl, six cereal bowls, nine cups, twelve saucers, and twelve plates. CONDITION REPORT: Surface dirt, small surface abrasions commensurate with use, a T-shaped crack to the teapot lid, a hairline on one of the bowls, and at least one cup has tiny chips to the rim.
A 19th century English part tea set with transferred, hand coloured and gilt heightened decoration on pink ground, comprising nine cups, eleven saucers, nine side plates, and two sandwich plates, pattern number 8211, diameter 25cm. CONDITION REPORT: No manufacturer's mark. There are areas of rubbing to the gilt on edges, some pieces with heavier rubbing, some dirt to surface on some pieces, traces of usage throughout, rubbing to some transfer decoration, hairline crack to one cup, wear to bases.
