Dolls House - a large 20th century Victorian style three storey doll's house ' Acorn Antiques ' and ' Holly Tea Rooms '. Divided into six rooms across three storeys with the relevant shops to the bottom tier and living quarters above. Hinged opening front in two sections, and a lift-up hinged attic. Fully furnished with all miniature accessories and figures. To one side sits a miniature scale garden, fully decorated with faux plants and trees etc. Wired for lighting. Very well made and an impressive display. Measures approx: H68cm x W70cm x D38cm (excluding garden).NB: photographs of the dolls house set up have been provided by the vendor before the contents being securely packed away for transportation. A quantity of porcelain to include, two Meissen relief moulded dishes, Spode tea and coffee set with wet blue, gilt and jeweled borders retailed by Soane & Smith, a Tuscan china tea set and a Cottage Derby tea set (one shelf). Meissen dishes both free from chips, cracks and repair. The gilding or bronzing is unusual, perhaps later done and has not survived well. The snake handled cup marked Victoria, Austria is free from damage and repair but has gilt wear.
A Royal Winton chintz Sweet Pea six place tea set, comprising teapot and over on stand, hot water jug and cover, two graduated jugs, cream jug and sugar bowl, six cups, saucers and side plates, bread and butter plate and two square side plates (one tray). Bread and butter plate with a V shaped crack to the rim. Glaze crazed throughout. No other damage or repair.
