A pair of Georgian-style silver-plated dinner plates with shaped borders & gadrooned rims, 26cm dia.; a rectangular tray with serpentine sides, 47 x 34.5cm; a muffin dish on two handled hotwell base; a sugar castor; a sugar scuttle; three wine coasters; a rectangular bread board & stand; & a cased set of six tea knives with mother-of-pearl handles.
English bone china tea set, possibly Daniels, circa.1830, floral decoration, no.2/824.Condition report:There are firing faults to the inside of the sugar bowl and teapot. There is also a chip to the inside rim on the sugar bowl. There is minor loss of gilding and fine surface scratches to numerous items. There are hairline cracks to several coffee cups, one teacup, one plate and one saucer. One coffee cup has a large chip. The spout on the teapot has been repaired and there is a chip to the inside locking part. The handle on one teacup has been repaired. Several items would benefit from a clean. A Chinese Late Qing Dynasty or Later Cased Set of Five Porcelain Famille Rose 'Landscape' Tea Bowls and Covers, Decorated with Views of Jiangxi, 'Nanpu Gui Fan' (Ships Returning to Southern Harbour). The Cups Measure 11cm in Diameter and 6.5cm in Height, with Lids Measuring 9.5cm in Diameter and 3.5cm in Height. All Housed in the Fitted Hardwood Dove-Jointed Case with a Slide Top (Some Condition Issues with Drop Handles). The Box Measures 29.5x31.5x13.5cm
The tea caddy with gilt bordering around the hexagonal caddy, each panel inset with multicoloured quillwork, the front set with an oval portrait on silk of a young lady, the reverse with initials 'M.B.'. The interior with traces of original lining and the detached lock and tamper. The outer case decorated with painted panels to the front three sides, with a painted border beneath, and a matching lid with a ring handle. All together with a George III silver caddy spoon of pressed leaf form, with marks for 1799 and makers mark 'IT'.The outer caddy 20.5cm wide x 17cm high. The inner quillwork caddy 16.2cm wide x 12.2cm high.Qty: 3The quillwork caddy in generally good condition considering age, with good colouring to the quillwork with minor fading as expected, particularly to the lid. The back right panel with a small section of loss to the quillwork. The gilded border with some losses and wear, particularly to the front. The lock detached. the interior lining somewhat degraded.The outer box with the lid detached from the main body. The back right joint with a hairline crack, and further cracks to other joints. Wear, losses, dents, and marks to the paintwork.The caddy spoon in good condition.
