An Art Deco "Bone China Scotia Salisbury" pattern tea set (20). CONDITION REPORT: One cup has a 1 cm hairline crack running from the top lip. All other pieces are in good order with no damage, no chips, no repairs and no restoration. There is some minor rubbing to the gilding and the pattern in places but no significant problems other than the small crack already mentioned.
A Copeland Spode Chinese Rose tea set (20). CONDITION REPORT: The sugar basin has two small top edge chips just through the green glaze. One cup is a little stained and crazed to the interior. All remaining pieces are in good order with no damage, chips, repairs or restoration. All pieces have minor losses to the green paint on each rim.
A Paragon Harry Wheatcroft Rose design tea service (21), and another also by Paragon (21). CONDITION REPORT: Both tea sets are extremely dirty and require a good wash. The Harry Wheatcroft is in generally very good condition. One cup has had 2 breaks to the handle which have been re-glued. The cake plate has some visible surface scuffs. No other pieces have any damage. The gilding is generally very good. The accompanying tea set is also in extremely good condition with no issues. The gilding is generally very good. As stated the piece is simply very dirty.
An Aynsley Pembroke part tea service, foliate patterned, (23 pieces). CONDITION REPORT: All pieces in this lot are in extremely good condition with no damage, repairs or restoration. The only piece showing any rubbing to the gilding is on the handle areas of the large plate. The only piece that we think is a later addition to the set is the single slightly larger plate which has a blue back stamp.
A group of silver comprising:- a pair of pierced cylindrical condiments with blue glass liners, London, 1937; two modern winev labels for "Sherry" and "Brandy"; two Egyptian silver coffee spoons; an Israeli white metal kiddush cup stamped "925",with applied filigree bunches of grapes and set with three turquoise bosses, gilt interior; a set of 6 silver-handled tea knives (cased); and 5 silver-handled butter knives (cased).All in overall good order.
