A French porcelain veilleuses-theieres (tea-warmer and night light), 19th century, of lobed form with gilt enclosed hand painted floral panels against a turquoise ground, gilt highlights throughout, 24cm high overall, with a similarly decorated gilt brass mounted vase, of flattened conical form, with gilt enclosed painted panels depicting a courting couple, set to a gilt brass foot, extensive rivet repairs, 18.5cm high, and a Crown Stafford desk stand decorated with birds and insects in the manner of James Giles (3) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:The veilleuses-theieres shows rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout, most noticeably to the base of the warmer. The vase shows an extensive rivet repair and rubbing to the gilt highlights. The desk stand shows rubbing to the gilt highlights, a firing flake to the bottom edge, and is lacking its inkwell liners and covers.
