A 1940's Royal Albert Blossom Time tea set - bone china T pot, milk and sugar, 4 cup, 6 saucers, 6 side plates, 1 large plateOn a spring morning in 1933, G. R. Palmeter left a meeting of the Apple Blossom Committee at the Cornwallis Inn to purchase china from a representative of the Royal Albert China of England. While there, he asked the salesman about creating a pattern called Blossom Time, to tie in with the Apple Blossom festival.
An Edwardian porcelain hand painted 10 piece tea set no.4809 made by T. Goode & Co., South Audley London, comprising; ten tea cups, ten saucers, ten side plates, four cake plates, three sandwich plates and two smaller, milk jug, sugar bowl and covered butter dish. All with a green, gold and pink floral design. Note: This tea set was especially commissioned by Edward Bishop Boughton (1873-1972) who started Automotive Products in Leamington Spa.

Teapot has a large piece missing to the spout. Some cups have hairline fractures and discolouration. Same with the saucers. Gilt and orange floral decorated tea service - has discolouration, crazing, one cup handle is broken, hairline fractures, etc. Sucrier has had the bottom broken and re-attached badly and appears to have had restoration to the handle.
