A Spode Copelands China tea set, handpainted with birds and floral sprays, sandwich plate, 6 cups, 6 saucers, 6 side plates, milk jug. CONDITION REPORT: The tea set is in generally good condition. One plate has a single under edge chip which just touches the gilt border. One cup has a top edge chip and hairline crack running for 1 cm from the chip. The remainder of the set is in good order. The gilding is strong. There are no chips to the paintwork. The set has clearly seen little use.

A Shelley "Rosebud" No. 13426 part tea service comprising small teapot, 12 cm high, hot water jug, two teacups and saucers, lidded preserve pot, cream jug, sugar basin, two egg cups, four small plates and a similar flared dish, together with a Shelley "Hedgerow" No. 13492 part tea set comprising two water jugs (no lids), two teacups and saucers, four side plates, sugar bowl, milk jug, egg cup and oval container (possibly preserve pot) (minus lid) CONDITION REPORTS Shelley "Rosebud" - one cup has a chip to the rim and the sugar bowl has a large open crack running all the way through it."Hedgerow" - the two water jugs are missing lids and one has a crack to the base of the handle, chips to the inside rim and there is some discolouration / marks to the inside of the cylindrical pot. Otherwise both lots have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some surface scratching, etc. See images for more details.
