A Foley china blue white and gilt tea service, comprising 2 large plates, 10 cups, 10 saucers and 10 side plates, together with a Royal Winton Welbeck part tea service. CONDITION REPORT: The foliate patterned Welbeck tea set is in generally good condition. One saucer is visibly crazed when viewed from the underside. The set is however clear of any chips, cracks, hairlines or significant staining. There is no restoration. All pieces bear the same marks. The Foley tea set pieces are all similarly marked. All pieces have rubbing to the gilding in varying degrees, none of which is excessive. All pieces appear free from any chips or hairline cracks. All pieces are a little dirty. The saucers and large plates all have ridges between the panels. These ridges are generally discoloured and a little grey to look at. There does not appear to be any restoration. The foot rims of the cups are a little rough in places and slightly discoloured. One plate has a 3 cm surface scratch.
A Shelley "Tea for Two" tea set, decorated in blue green and orange against a white ground. CONDITION REPORT: The teapot is in generally good order with the exception of a hairline crack which runs through the middle two holes that allow the tea into the spout. This is only visible on the inside. One cup has a hairline crack running from the top lip by the handle right down through the base of the cup. One saucer has a 3 cm hairline crack. The sugar basin has some staining to the bottom. We are not sure if this will wash off or not. All other pieces are in good order with no chips, repairs or restoration.
