A Chinese blue and white porcelain large plate, Kangxi (1662 - 1722), the central field with a pair of birds amongst peonies and rocks, the border with prunus, lotus and peonies on a trellis ground, lotus mark within double concentric circle34cm diameterRim with considerable fritting and numerous chips/flakes. The largest flake is approximately 1.5cm. One hairline crack from the rim measuring 7cm in. Firing fault on the rim (1.5cm bare patch). Slight warping in the kiln. Some pitting to the glaze. Discolouration on the chips.

A group of Oriental items, 20th Century, to include an octagonal mahogany tray with brass fittings to the sides and a round engraved disc at the centre, four polychrome ginger jars with the base marks and three small porcelain items, one blue and white rectangular box with lid, the base marked 'Daqing Kangxi Nianzhi', 7.6cm wide, a water holder and two wooden stands, a Delft vase of lobed baluster form with two arched handles, decorated with chinoiserie design of peonies and a peacock on rocks, the base signed '1928' etc., 19cm high CONDITION REPORT: Imari saucer smashed and rivet repaired. Blue and white trencher salt crazed and stained. Corner of box repaired. Small ginger jar cover has faint hair crack.
