EINE BLAU GLASIERTE SCHALE China, wohl Qing-Dynastie Porzellan. D. 19 cm. Die Schale ist innen und außen mit einer blauen Glasur unter dem weißen Rand bedeckt, am Boden befindet sich eine sechsstellige Marke "Daqing Kangxi Nianzhi" in einem Doppelkreis. Mit kleinen Kratzern, am sind eine belgische Briefmarke und ein altes Etikett.

Das Konvolut umfasst einen blau-weißen Ingwertopf verziert mit Prunus auf Eis-Grund, zwei blau-weiße Deckelvasen verziert mit Drachen und Wolken. Alle drei haben Marke "Kangxi Nianzhi" am Boden. Part. besch., mit Gebrauchsspuren und Rissen.

The tureen base has been broken, repaired and broken again, both on the repair and elsewhere. Large areas of both handles missing. Some crazing throughout. Scalloped edged bowl has large chips throughout on the rim as well as crazing to the glaze and scratching particularly to the inside. The pair of plates have chipping, particularly to the undersides, one with several heavy areas of loss and both have significant firing faults and areas of blue speckle under the glaze. One with a chip to the external rim.Terracotta figure has losses to the paintwork throughout. The other pot has areas of glaze missing particularly to the rim

The edicts were first issued by the Emperor in 1670, consisting of sixteen maxims, each seven characters long, to instruct the average citizen in the basic principals of Confucian orthodoxy. Also published here is Wang Youpu's interpretation of the maxims.
