The scalloped rims held wine glass bases, so the bowls could cool in the ice. A good pair of Kangxi-style Chinese porcelain bottle vases (19th century); hand-decorated in famille verte enamels with floral sprigs upon a waisted neck and above a dogtooth-style border with enamelled peony within Moorish-style palmettes, four further similarly decorated palmettes above the circular foot, blue-painted six-character mark with concentric circles to the underside (one vase with 10cm hairline emanating from lip down towards neck) (each approx. 35cm) Condition Report: The vases have come privately and both appear to be in good honest original condition except for one of the vases with an approx. 7/8 cm hairline emanating from the top of the lip going down into the neck visible from inside and outside. The colours are good. The underside of the circular feet are discoloured as expected and commensurate with age. Some minor bubbling of glaze.
Delft - a jug of globular form, circa 1680, after the Chinese/Japanese original, painted with figures in a garden (20cm); and a double gourd vase based on a Kangxi original (21cm) (2)Condition Report: The double gourd vase has an old restoration to the neck and a large chunk of the neck missing and not with the vase. The neck has been broken away from the main body and put back on some time ago. The jug itself has some glazing away and has been in many pieces and put back together. The lip at the tip of the jug has been restored quite badly.

Condition Report: There is a 5cm by 8cm semi-circular section of the rim that has been broken and re-glued.
