A Chinese Porcelain Green Ground Aubergine Dragon Dish, Kangxi reign mark and of the period, incised and painted with a dragon chasing the flaming pearl within a border of two dragons, the exterior with two further dragons above a formal border, six character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle, 32cm diameter See illustration For a dish of the same design and of a similar size in the Hallwyl Museum in Stockholm see Wirgin (Jan) Kangxi Porcelain, Stockholm 1974, pl.37b. For other similar examples see Miscellaneous Enamelled Porcelains, Plain Tri-Coloured Porcelains, The Complete Collection of the Treasures of the Palace Museum, Shang-hi 2009, no.128 and Qing Imperial Porcelain of the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong Reigns Exhibition at the Chinese University of Hong Kong 1995, illustrated in the catalogue no.30 During the reign of the Emperor Qianlong the regulations of the Palace of the Qing Dynasty specified designs allowed for use by Imperial household members where dishes with green ground and aubergine dragons where assigned to the Fifth Rank Concubine 2.5cm long deep scratch to rear of head of central dragon, an extremely faint hairline crack approximately 1cm long from rim as well as some other very minor wear. 140219

A GOOD 19TH CENTURY CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE ENAMELLED PORCELAIN VASE, decorated upon a yellow ground profusely with scenes of native flora, lanterns, Chinese symbols, the central border picked out with a gilt highlighting band, the bottom with a lappet border, the base with an iron red Kangxi mark, 38cm high, 23.5cm wide.
A CHINESE IMARI KANGXI PERIOD PORCELAIN JAR, circa 1700, together with a wood stand and cover, the sides of the jar painted with phoenix and kylin amidst garden foliage, the wood cover pierced with a Shou medallion, 30.4cm high overall, the jar itself 22.2cm wide at widest point & 21.8cm high.
A GOOD PAIR OF 17TH/18TH CENTURY MOULDED ZISHA YIXING POTTERY TEAPOTS & COVERS, circa 1690, the sides of each moulded with two sinuous dragons disputing a flaming pearl, each cover with a coiled dragon finial, each base with a four-character Kangxi seal mark, each 12.4cm long including handle and spout & 6.9cm high overall.
Chinese blue and white, 19th century, comprising two vases and covers, one vase decorated with precious objects, three ginger jars, all with prunus pattern decoration, all but one with four character Kangxi mark, tallest 32 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The largest vase lid has a small chip to the rear of the Shi Shi tail, the neck of the vase has been broken from rim to shoulder in a D shape which is now in two halves and glued together. Kangxi mark. 30 cm high. The next vase - lid in good order, rim to shoulder hairline crack, four character Kangxi mark, 27 cm. Largest ginger jar - glazing floor to interior base which does show through to the underside, otherwise in good order, single character mark, 20 cm high.Second ginger jar - wood lid in good order, jar in good order, four character Kangxi mark, 16 cm high.Smallest ginger jar - no lid, no obvious faults visible, four character Kangxi mark, 13 cm high.

A large Chinese porcelain blue and white ginger jar, Kangxi character mark, late 19th century, the ovoid shaped jar decorated with prunus blooms and four reserves depicting scholars tables, antiques and blossoming sprays, 28cm high CONDITION REPORT: Cover- Pitted and with very small chip to rim. Jar- Firing cracks to the interior but theses are not visible from the exterior. Pitted interior. Un-glazed foot rim. Small section un-glazed to one reserve.
