A pair of late 19th century Chinese baluster-shaped vases in Kangxi-style (one minus lid); each piece decorated in underglaze blue with prunus blossom against cracked ice, each with four-character mark to underside of base (the lidded example 25cm high)Condition Report: The vases have from the Country House estate and are in a dirty and unclean condition. The condition is over all good. One of the vases has a small original firing crack above the second character to the underside and also a piece of foot rim showing an unglazed area.
A pair of 19th century Chinese porcelain sleeve vases in Kangxi style; decorated in underglaze blue, the averted lip with a ruyi border above two central mons with flowerhead design, further flowerhead and leaves etc. above a lotus lappet-style base, painted four-character mark to one side (24cm high), together with one other 19th century Chinese porcelain baluster-shaped vase (minus cover), hand decorated in underglaze blue with figures holding oversized vases and covers decorated with chrysanthemums and butterflies etc. against a ground decorated with prunus blossom and two perched birds above a diaper-style base with two quatrefoil-shaped reserves decorated with further flowerheads, four-character mark to one side of base (28cm high) (3) Vases with hairlines, damage and various restorations etc.
Eight pieces of Chinese blue-and-white ceramics to include 18th century export ware: a large 19th century dish hand-decorated in underglaze blue and with prunus blossom; an octagonal Chinese porcelain dish hand-decorated with figures (probably Kangxi); an 18th century export ware tureen-and-stand and five others (damages)Condition Report: There is a very large 25cm wide piece of restoration to the rim edge of the large charger which has been restored quite heavily, the octagonal also has a 3 cm piece away from the edge and been badly re-glued, the tureen has half the finial missing, the round plates have rim fritting and one plate has a hairline coming in. Most pieces have some issues commensurate with age.

Pair of blue and white inverted baluster vases Chinese, Kangxi period (1661 - 1722) each painted with scrolling foliage and blooming flowers, with Lingzhi fungus mark painted to the base enclosed by a double circle, each with Bluett & Sons labels, 24.5cm high (2) Provenance: Acquired by the current vendor's grandfather in Beijing around the 1930s while working as a junior diplomat Condition: one has a large crack running from the rim of the vase through to near the base, star cracks also visible. A lot of yellow residue all over, could be tobacco or old stickers. The other has similar yellow residue. All over heavy wear to both including scratches

A Chinese porcelain aubergine glaze brush washer, 18th century, Kangxi period, of circular form with tapered rim and all-over deep purple glaze, applied with two lion mask lugs to the sides, unglazed foot rim, recessed base, 23cm wide Provenance: The Estate of Lord Kenyon, Gredington.Condition report; No obvious areas of restoration. Fritting can be seen to the piece, more so to the interior. The purple glaze is not uniform and varies in strength and hues throughout. Each nose of the lion mask lugs have small glaze chips - this is commensurate. Surface scratching and blemishes can be seen throughout the piece. Some glaze imperfections can be seen which include burst glaze bubbles to the exterior which reveal the pale porcelain body against the aubergine glaze - these are not instantly visible but one is more prominent when compared to others. The purple glaze drips to the foot rim unevenly. Unglazed base of foot rim with areas of pitting and minor losses, as expected but no severe. The underside appears to perhaps once have had blue scripture in concentric form - this is no longer legible nor clearly visible or can be confirmed. Please see additional images for clarification.
