Two Chinese blue and white ovoid jars, one with a cover, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (1667-1722), the bodies of each fluted and painted with roundels of figures in gardens and interiors, between bands of flowers, the one with a cover with a Jiajing mark, the other with a Chenghua mark 25.5cm and 21.5cm high. (2)Condition report: jar and cover - cover with crack and restored restuck lower rim, main jar in good condtion, glaze ok, no obvious signs of hairline cracks, footrim ok, age and wear commensurate with age. A large Chinese blue and white porcelain brushpot, of waisted form decorated with a continuous scene of scholars playing a game of go while attendants look on, further adult figures and children playing in the garden, Greek key fret border at the base; Kangxi style and possibly of the period. 17cm high. A Chinese Kangxi Period (1662-1722) famille verte vase with flared rim over a shallow baluster body decorated with figures in a garden setting, including mothers and children, children playing in foreground, one with a crab on a string, others around a firework, together with musicians and dancers in dragon costume, palm and fir trees in background (with damage to rim and staple-repaired damage to the circular foot), 40cm H CONDITION REPORTS A large chip to the rim and smaller chips around the edge. In need of a clean. Wear/losses to the enamel decoration throughout. Firing faults. There are two hairline fractures running up from the base which join along the bottom of the vase and has been repared previously. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include firing faults, surface scratches, etc. See images for more details.
A Chinese Kangxi powder blue ground and gilt decorated pot and cover (gilding worn), 21.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS There is significant wearing to the gilding throughout. The top has a large chip to the inside rim together with other smaller ones.
