A Chinese famille verte bowl, with a flared rim, the interior decorated with a dragon within borders of scrollwork, flowerheads and fish swimming amidst breaking waves, the exterior with six dragon rondels, six character Chenghua mark, but Kangxi, 19.3cm. An extremely feint 6cm. hairline and repaired rim chip.

(11cm.) dia., together with A Wucai bowl painted with scrolling flowering foliage, the underside with a six character mark stating that it was an object dedicated three times to Bian He, 5 1/2ins. (14cm.) dia.
