A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE 'HUNDRED ANTIQUES' DISH FROM THE COLLECTION OF AUGUSTUS THE STRONG SIX CHARACTER KANGXI MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1662-1722 Enamelled with three vessels to the centre, containing various flowers including peonies, prunus, wisteria and magnolia, all enclosed by eight cartouches with alternate scenes of mythical animals and floral sprays, the underside further painted with blossoming branches, incised Japanese Palace inventory mark 'N:16/I', 33.4cm. Provenance: the collection of Augustus the Strong (1670-1733), property from a deceased estate, Cheshire. PLEASE NOTE THIS LOT IS TO BE OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE.

A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' YEN YEN VASE 19TH CENTURY Decorated with two sinuous four-claw dragons facing each other, blossoming peony, chrysanthemum and dense foliage, all set against an underglaze blue ground, the base with a four character Kangxi mark, 48cm. Provenance: from the collection of Lady Adela Larking (1845-1912), and thence by descent.
TWO CHINESE FIGURES OF GUANYIN KANGXI 1662-1722 Each figure depicted wearing draped robes and with a tall chignon covered by a veil, the turquoise glazed Guanyin seated upon a pedestal throne, with a child standing next to her, whilst the sancai glazed goddess is decorated with a long bead necklace and holds a fly whisk in her right hand, 28cm and 19.9cm. (2) Provenance: from the collection of Mr Charles Sydney Cheston, painter, d.1960, and thence by descent, the sancai recorded in Charles Cheston's 1946 catalogue as purchased for £11.

A LARGE CHINESE COROMANDEL TWELVE-PANEL SCREEN KANGXI 1662-1722 Decorated with dignitaries, scholars, military figures, ladies and attendants, with deer and cranes, all within buildings, on pathways and in gardens, below bands of archaic vessels and within narrow floral bands, the reverse with calligraphy, below landscape and floral panels. flanked by vertical bands of large scrolling dragons amidst clouds, each panel 247cm x 45cm, 247cm x 720cm overall. Provenance: a private collection, London, acquired in the 1990s.
A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE GOURD-SHAPED VASE MOUNTED AS A EWER KANGXI 1662-1722 The lower section painted with ruyi-shaped lappets enclosing peony scrolls, the top two globular sections with antiques, cranes and stylised clouds, the neck with later silver coloured metal mounts, and a hinged cover with two punch marks, 29.4cm.

19th Century Chinese blue and white porcelain ginger jar and cover, the cover with foliate decoration and pointed finial, the body painted with reserved panels of figures in gardens. Four character Kangxi mark to base. 33cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) The cover has old riveted repair and the body has a noticeable repair to the neck.
