A BLUE AND WHITE ‘RUYI’ GUANYIN BOTTLE, PERIOD OF KANGXI Size: 43.5 cm (H) The rounded sides rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck and flaring rim, the neck delicately painted in deep cobalt-blue tones with dense bouquets of mixed flowers, all blooming against a ground of thick foliage, the body superbly decorated with additional floral scrolls and ‘ruyi’.
A CELADON-GLAZED PORCELAIN BOTTLE-FORM VASE, PERIOD OF KANGXI Size: 23 cm (H) The vase of bottle form with a globular body and elongated neck slightly flaring towards the rim. Incised to the body with three chilong grasping branches of lingzhi fungus in their mouths, on a continuous background of scrolling vines and fungus. To the neck a single raised fillet with stiff leaves flaring towards the mouth and a ruyi-head boarder below, a six-character Jiajing mark in cobalt blue on the base. A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE ‘FIGURAL’ BOWLS, KANGXi SIX CHARACTER MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD Size: 15.3 cm (D) Of quadrilobed form raised from a short straight foot, painted on the exterior with a poet admiring the view and contemplating, further decorated with blossoms, foliage and ‘ruyi’ on the sides, fine lines are delicately painted on the foot and on the interior near the rim.
A Chinese Reticulated Tianqiuping Globular Double Walled Vase - The Vase Is In The Traditional Celestial sphere form (Tianqiuping) A Narrow Neck Widening Into A Bulbous Body. The Whole Vase Is Glazed In Deep Sage Green, Yellow Ochre, Deep Brown-Aubergine And Blue Sancai (three colour) Style Glazes. The Body Decorated With Swirling Stylized Cloud Motifs Interspaced With Images Of Blue And White Winged Bats And Embellished With Unusual Reticulation. The Underside Of The Vase Displays Six Character Marks Of Kangxi (Qing Dynasty). Height 32.5cm/12.7 Inches. Wonderful Condition And Colours.
An underglaze blue and orange bowl, decorated with bats amongst clouds, 23 cm diameter, the base with four-character Kangxi nien-hao mark, but not of the period; together with a Ming style, blue and white bowl, decorated with abstract designs, 14.5 cm diameter; and a Chinese tapering blue and white vase, mounted for electricity. Overall height of the last 48 cm.
