CONDITION REPORT: Vase 1 - Fritting visable throughout. Minor glaze scratching throughout. Glaze burn visable to the interior rim. Minor glaze loss to lower footrim. Scuffing and wear to footrim. No signs of any structural issues. Vase 2 - Slightly taller than vase one by approx 0.5cm. Also the painted scene is marginally different possibly indicating a 'Matched' pair. Extensive fritting to body and upper rim. Minor glaze loss to the footrim. Scuffing and wear to the footrim. No signs of any structural issues.
A Chinese blue and white jar and cover, Kangxi four-character marks, 19th century Of meiping form, surmounted by a domed and brimmed cover with shishi finial, painted in rich cobalt to the exterior depicting phoenix before ruyi and stiff lappet bands, 33cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Cover - Several glaze chips to the rim, showing dark discolouration below. Firing cracks visable below the shishi finical.
