A pair of Chinese Kangxi "Vung Tau Cargo" bowls and saucers with panels of hatched foliage and flowers, bearing patched ribbon tied lozenge mark to base within blue concentric rings, 11 cm x 6.5 cm, saucer 16 cm diameter, together with three various Chinese polychrome decorated saucers and a Japanese Satsuma figural decorated saucer (8) CONDITION REPORTS Both saucers from the Vung Tau Cargo have hairline cracks and some chips to the undersides. Both bowls also have significant hairline cracks. All bear old Christies labels, are dirty and in need of a clean. The polychrome decorated saucer with the birds and floral sprays has hairline cracks and chips. The Imari palette smaller saucer has been broken in half and repaired as well as repairs elsewhere in the saucer. Has chips throughout. The saucer with the figures has some roughness to the edge, has significant wear to the inside and the Satsuma saucer has a star crack to the base and some light wear to the decoration throughout. All have wear and tear conducive with age and use to include firing faults etc and are in need of a good clean - see images for more details

A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE TEAPOT (2)Kangxi The baluster body enamelled with vertical panels of flowers beneath a key pattern border, the overhead handle painted to simulate basketwork, later wood cover, overall height 19cmReplacement wood cover. The handle is completely restored and probably a replacement. Some restoration around one handle terminal where it joins the body. Minor nicks around tip of spout. Some fritting to the glaze around the foot.

The centre painted with peony and small flowerheads, within a border of barbed floral vignettes, the base with an artemisia leaf mark, diameter 22.5cm. From the personal collection of the late Graham Pedley who owned an antique shop in Truro, Cornwall from 1964-1983.
A Chinese blue and white prunus blossom porcelain vase, late 19th century. The cover surmounted by a dog of fo, above shaped opposing panels enclosing precious objects, Kangxi four character mark, height 31.5cm, width 11cm.The right ear of the Fo dog on the finial has a small chip. Glaze chip to his tail on the left hand side. Glaze pitting to the lid and body in areas, otherwise good antique condition.

To include a Canton vase, height 15cm, a smaller Canton vase, height 11cm, two Canton brush pots, heights 11.4 and 10.5cm,a Canton cup and saucer, two Chinese famille rose pots, height 4.7cm, a Chinese blue and white vase with four character Kangxi mark, late 19th century, height 13cm, a Chinese blue and white tea bowl, 18th century, height 4.5cm, diameter 8cm, a Chinese blue and white cover, diameter 7cm and two Chinese famille rose saucers, diameters 11.7 and 9.8cm. (13) Maurice Jenkins (1933-2022). North Cornwall collector. Maurice was a lifetime collector and started in the 1950s. He opened a shop in Liskeard in the 1970s called Canon Hill Antiques. He visited a number of Middle Eastern countries in his lifetime including Egypt in the late 1970's when his interest in Islamic and Asian antiques began. He was a man with an eye for quality and a love of antiques, history and travel who purchased privately and at auction over the decades. Over a lifetime of purchasing privately and at auction, he created an eclectic ensemble of collections reflecting his interests.
