Pr 19th C CHINESE BLUE & WHITE FLORAL VASES A pair of antique Chinese hand painted blue and white porcelain oval form vases depicting flowering branches. Bottoms hold blue four character calligraphy Kangxi reign marks, but made later in the Qing Dynasty period, circa 19th century. Each measures approx. 13 5/8" height x 6 7/8" diameter (34.6cm x 17.4cm). Total weight of 3.55 kilograms.

A PAIR OF CHINESE PORCELAIN BLUE AND WHITE `G` MARK BOTTLE VASES, KANGXI (1662-1722) with long slender necks, each painted by a different hand, the bulbous bases with flowerheads amongst scrolling leaves, the shoulder with wide band with scrolls and further flowerheads, the top with diaper pattern, each with Hancocks paper label to base 20.5cm high Provenance: Hancocks, 37 Bury Street, St James`s, London SW1 The bases have the unusual `G` mark in underglaze blue, occasionally found on Kangxi export wares, which it has been suggested may be for a European retailer. It is found on both blue and white and famille verte pieces.

Late 17th or Early 18th C. Chinese Porcelain Dish Decorated with the ‘egg and spinach’ design of splashed yellow, green and aubergine. The underside similarly decorated but the centre with an underglaze blue shop mark. This dish dates from the Kangxi period (1662-1722). Signs of wear and use. Firing faults to underside. Dia. 19.5cm.
Beautifully Glazed Beehive Shaped Brush Pot Covered in a bright peach bloom glaze which has transmuted to green in places. Running out to a level line at the foot rim. The underside bearing a six character, underglaze blue Kangxi (1662-1722AD) reign mark. The mark is considered to be apocryphal. The porcelain possibly made in the Republic era ,1930. Bidders will need to bid using their own judgment. H. 8.5cm.

A Chinese famille verte Kangxi style ovoid vase and cover, 19th century, brightly enamelled and decorated with two mythological animals Kylin and Luduan in standing or crouching postures surrounded by flames, enclosed by four lotus petal shaped panels to the body, one to the cover, against a Buddhist lotus flower and roaming pattern ground, all within formal borders, 27cm high. Note: Luduan is the brother of Kylin, with single horn, both symbolizing good fortune and playing a role as the good omen in a Fengshui treasure place. Also it represents justice in court.
