A Chinese Kangxi powder blue and gilt decorated onion-shaped vase with slender neck decorated with butterflies and flowers with blue concentric rings mark to base 43 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has a large firing fault to the top of the neck as well as other firing faults throughout and wear to the gilded decoration throughout. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some small chips to the top and base on the glaze. Some light surface scratching. Generally in need of a clean. One area of damage and repair / repainting - fingernail size. One hairline crack possibly only glaze thick to the underside as not visible from the top.
